",1" means that the number has been LL tested once. A factor found will save one LL test.

",0" means the number has never been LL tested before. A factor found will save at least two LL tests, and it's worthwhile to spend more time trying to find a factor first. I'm not sure of what amount, but would guess the bounds are chosen so that the time spent is about twice the time of ",1".

There is no limitation afaik, but mprime segfaults after a while (unpredictably) if I use higher values. The machine has 4GB RAM.
