By default, for some reason, ECC is turned off.
It is easy enough to turn it on, though. $ sudo nvidia-smi -e 1 [sudo] password for m: Enabled ECC support for GPU 00000000:17:00.0. All done. Reboot required. We don't yet know yet if the ECC setting is persistent over power cycles. More interesting info: Code:
