After thinking about how much we ride, and how much we enjoy riding, we decided to trade the chopper bike in for something different. On paper the new bike appears very imposing and scary due to its size, but in real life it is a pussycat, and supremely warm and comfortable as well.

We can even ride in the rain and somehow the rain flies up over us.

We do not have a proper photograph of it yet, so we will attach one of Honda's promotional pictures.

Anyways, our journey through the various types of motorcycles has been interesting to say the least. We do not regret the sport bike or the chopper because we learned so much from them.

I rode Goldwings for years. First a blue GL1000, the basic unfaired bike and then a red GL1100 with full touring kit, music system, etc.

Never got as far as the Aspencade and now ride a ST1100.

Nice bikes.

Just don't drop it, or repairs will be ferociously expensive.

Bravo! Let's just keep a close watch. We have to suppose that it will keep trying to sneak through by hook or crook. (emphasis on the latter.)

Default A happy meal indeed

SWMBO has been going on for ages about wanting to keep chickens. I eventually persuaded her to get on with it so a Egluβ„’ arrived on Feb 13th, along with two young fowl --- a Miss Pepperpot and a Gingernut Ranger. We were told to expect them to start laying by the end of March.

We found our first egg today.
