I was trying to find "Give me back that 5 dollars I paid for my

Default Happy Birthday....

"Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday to you,
Happy Birthday Dear My_First_Quad
Happy Birthday to you"

P.S. And as a birthday present I am expecting the last component of my next Quad to be delivered today.

P.S.2 Nope, that's NOT my baby picture.

Must borg more boxes! Must borg more boxes!

11,347 GHz-days (31.09 GHz-years or better yet 2,236 P90-years) and counting...

21 active boxen comprising 33 cores, putting up an LL test every 2-3 days. If only I could get some more Quads...

Well you're still ahead of me. With this quad replacing a PIII I will be at:
- 16 boxes
- 26 cores
- of the 16 boxes 4 hardly contribute
-- 1 PIV 3.0 running about 1 hour a week. The in-laws can't be convinced to keep it on when not in use
-- 1 Laptop 1.8 running about 6 hours a week
-- 1 PIV 3.0 running about 30% of the time
-- 1 AMD Duron 1.3 at 50% due to overheating

12,598 points (small lead) but the report shows you catching me by year end ... we'll see what difference the new quad makes.

Default Built my first PC....

A couple days ago this could have been in the "UNhappy me" thread...it sure was more involved than I would have imagined....mostly because I was integrating new hardware with old hardware in an old case.

BUT IT WORKS!!!!!!!!

Yes, very. 6 days for a DC (running 4 concurrently) and I haven't even tried to OC yet.

That puts this PC around 12 GhzDays Per Day. Abou 25% faster than my Q9550 even though the clock speed is 5% slower.

Cool, I'm in the same ballpark with 8,835 GHz-days YTD (14,517 lifetime) currently running 31 cores in 13 boxes.

We figured we would get a lump of coal for Christmas, like we usually do, but Santa must have changed the way he determines "naughty" and "nice"!

Now how can we get this rain to turn into snow?
