Hi computationally intrigued people,
My two home computers have tried 3402 eliptic curves with Prime95. All of them have been for the 20 th Fermat number or smaller. Hopefully I will hit the jackpot and find a factor someday. Regards, Matt |

I finally got my Visa for china. And pay 115 € for an express treatment ( thats about 150$).
I will visit SHANGHAI, LUZHI, SUZHOU, ZHENGZHOU, SHAOLIN temple,LUOYANG,XI'AN ( the terracotta warriors) and PEKIN ( the great wall, the forbiden city, etc). I will enjoy this trip. Nota bene : this is the original ' happy me' thread |

A close relative of mine was taken to the hospital by emergency services Thursday. They were in a bad way. 2 medical professionals that I know, that work in emergency medicine, said that one of the test numbers was "the highest that I have ever seen" and "crazy high" (it was >3 times the value that is considered high enough to be a problem.) The fact that they did not die was remarkable.
Today they returned home, vastly improved.

somewhat new to prime searching, I did it a little back in 2013, and now I joined back again. Just found my largest prime number as of yet ---> 4431*2309253-1 (93099 digits)

I finally broke down, and bought a Nexus 5.
I'm still in the process of "Making Friends" with it, and I can already tell I'm going to miss the physical QWERTY keyboard I'm used to on the Blackberries I'm used to. But the display and camera are amazing, as is the voice recognition! And I'll be able to write apps for this thing without having to pay someone for the privilege of doing so. Happy dance!
