"This hyper-intelligent automated processor overclocking tool examines your processor’s individual performance DNA..."
Good grief, what a load of marketing technobabble - let's hope the actual performance of the tool is worth having to read such wince-inducing drivel. |

The insurance for overclocking is basically a warranty rider, allowing for one cpu replacement.

"This hyper-intelligent ..."
![]() I suppose this is the next step after "smart". Since "smart" phones make people stupid, what would a "hyper-intelligent" thing do? Turn them into an imbecile? Don't worry your pretty little mind about such advanced things, just trust me, the hyper-intelligent code, to do everything perfectly, you imbecilic human. |

Perhaps this has something to do with the OCing-hyper-shmart-foo distractive PR blather by Intel?
Intel Reorganizes In Wake of 7nm Woes; Chief Engineering Officer To Depart | AnandTech Reader comment: "Meanwhile AMD has already had 7nm processors in mass production for over a year, is providing both the CPUs and GPUs for both upcoming next-gen video game consoles, and will have a new line of further improved 7nm CPUs on store shelves by the end of the year. On top of that they’ve essentially confirmed they already have working 5nm tech. Intel is getting absolutely crushed. Arguably at the very highest end they still have a slight edge, so if money isn’t an issue and you want to build the very best system you’re maybe still better off with Intel, but the difference will be minor at best. And at the low and mid-range price points AMD completely steamrolls Intel. And AMD is always refining whatever weak points they still have, whereas Intel is treading water and can’t seem to get anywhere. Intel is the Boeing of the tech hardware industry right now." |
