Back in the day, people remarked on the amazing similarity between Chicago Police Chief O. W. Wilson, and the actor Leo G. Carroll, who was Mr. Waverly in The Man from U.N.C.L.E.

A little less long ago, I thought Interior Secretary James Watt bore an uncanny resemblance to Superman's enemy Lex Luthor.

Continuing the "fictional character" theme into the present day, IMO WH Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham bears a striking resemblance to Charles Addams' character Morticia -- especially as portrayed on TV and in movies.

Back around the time Reagan left office, televangelist Jim Bakker got into legal trouble. (He is doing a bit of a reprise these days, promoting colloidal silver as a cure for Coronavirus).

Curiously, just about that time, Isuzu Motors had an ad campaign going, featuring a fictional pitch man called Joe Isuzu, portrayed by actor David Leisure. At the time, it seemed to me that Bakker and Leisure bore more than a slight resemblance.

And, the character Joe Isuzu was an comically outrageous liar...

We look like identical twins except there are many years between us, and except the belly I am putting on for a while... (well, laziness, no exercising, good food, aging, etc). But if you take photos of me younger and compare with web photos of him, you could not tell us apart.
