Hallo All,
I have the following Problem: 1. Torture Test stops with an Error. 2. Change RAM Module 3. Torture Test works 4. Primality Test works ...from Time to Time I stop the workers. Jacobi runs. From Time to Time Jacobi stops with an Error...sometimes not. Do anybody have an idea whats going wrong? Or is it "normal" ![]() Thanks for help |

You have a system problem. It might be RAM, or something else, or multiple causes. Try reducing the clocking for the RAM and/or the CPU. Try raising the voltages a little. Make sure your PSU isn't flaking out under load. Monitor the temperatures, see if something is overheating. etc. |

What software are you referring to; prime95, mprime, something else?
How old is the hardware, and has the dust been blown out lately? Will it pass a memory test such as by memtest86+? |

Run PRP instead, on properly assigned work. Its detection rate of error is far superior. Nearly 100% for GEC on PRP, versus 50% detection rate on Jacobi for LL. The less reliable the hardware, the more important that difference is.
