They've flown under the radar thanks to zen2 but they're out. They are fundamentally different enough to Vega and Polaris that the performance for TF/LL/PRP/P-1 cannot accurately be predicted, it'll need testing. Basic specs:
There's a lot of gaming benchmarks out there which peg the 5700 at around 2060S levels, the 5700XT at 2070S levels FWIW, with slightly better power consumption. Probably won't get one as much as I want to test it, can't justify buying another toy. If you're considering one I'd wait about a month unless you don't mind early adopter teething issues (especially for Linux). Only reference blower cards exist ATM which are loud as hell, AIB's are expected mid-August which are probably worth the wait. |

yup, afaik DP is at 1:16
https://www.techpowerup.com/gpu-spec...-5700-xt.c3339 Code:
FP32 (float) performance 8.986 TFLOPS FP64 (double) performance 561.6 GFLOPS (1:16) And, from andtech, the price will be adjusted down. Last fiddled with by axn on 2019-07-09 at 13:51 Reason: broken code tag |

Unfortunately unlike the Vega architecture rDNA wasn't designed from the ground up as a compute architecture, but instead a gaming focused architecture (which sorta disappoints me). The memory bandwidth is also quite lackluster with the gddr6, so I am not expecting much from these cards, maybe getting around the same performance as a stock vega 56 would after overclock.

Gotta see someone running AIDA64 GPGPU test on Navi, and hopefully the INT32 performance is equally to the FP32 performance (same as RTX) because as of current implementation only INT24 is identical to FP32 perf and not FP32. I seriously doubt it will be the case, I think it will TF worse than Vega series.

https://hothardware.com/news/amd-7nm...erformance-lab For example, it was rumored more than a year ago that Navi would be the first GPU from AMD to feature circuitry dedicated to artificial intelligence (AI) operations. |

Interesting thermal performance improvement over stock graphite pad, maybe simlarly applicable to Radeon VII's:
