Default Cooking on the wifi router?

I realized that passive cooling was not effective in the summer (it causes disconnection), so I needed some diy cooling solutions for my wifi router. Do you have any idea? Thanks

If it has a USB port you could get a USB fan or mod a lightweight internal 12V PC fan to run (slowly) from the USBs 5V.

Or a USB fan powered from a USB wall plug adapter.

What sort of ambient temperatures are you experiencing? What brand router? I run a router and switch from Western Digital in a space which is only intermittently air conditioned. Neither has active cooling, and neither has given any trouble in summer, in Chicago, with room temps as high as 30C. YMMV, but it seems the environment must be Really Warm.

Spatially separate the wifi router from other heat sources.
Put a low tech thermometer near it to determine what its local ambient temp is.
Check whatever ventilation openings it has, for obstruction by dust, lint or cat hair.

Since the OP is already banned after one post. His second post must have contained ads (or his first contained them and they were removed at the same time the user was banned.)

In other words no need for answers...

IIRC the first post was the same as it is now before he was banned. I wondered why he was banned the second time I saw it.

It would surprise me if it hasn't happened far faster than that. We get more spammers than most realize.

Props to the mods then, I don't think I've ever seen any spam on this forum.
