Is running LLR using GPUs with Linux (ubuntu 16.03) possible? With windows, right clicking on LLR and "choosing run with graphics possessor" would do it. There isn't anything similar thing for Linux?

LLRcuda runs under linux; there's a thread dedicated to it, though I believe development stopped a few CUDA versions ago.
Someone else released a newer-CUDA-compatible version last winter sometime, but I found that for 3-digit k values the GPU version was slower than the CPU version on an older quadro GPU (5000, I think; very old, but pretty good DP specs). Anyway, have a look at the llrCUDA thread in the GPU computing subform, link: https://mersenneforum.org/showthread.php?t=14608 Last fiddled with by VBCurtis on 2019-05-18 at 22:49 Reason: 2000 -> 5000 |
