Default TEST

We are editing this post from within the database.

We have no idea what is wrong.

All of the previous posts in the database are intact.

We have a backup but it is from March 1st so we will use that only if we can't figure this out.

One of the weirder problems is the server is injecting a trailing "." after the TLD in the URL. We have a htaccess rewrite rule in there temporarily until we can figure out why it is doing that.

Our testing indicates:

Unregistered or logged out users can read the forum with no issues.

Logged in users can read the forum with no problems unless they click the new post icon to open a thread. Then a "." is injected after the TLD in the URL. (We have a temporary fix for that.)

If you have any idea how to fix this please let us know!

The good news:

The forum is still readable.

We have backups.

Default You can work around.

It seems that you have to edit from a blank message.
Post tiny message. Submit. Then edit via advanced editor.
Recommend edit in text editor and paste in.
You may have to go through a cycle or 2 to make it work.
