Hi all,
Was wondering if you American friends can help me. I’m looking for an online bookshop where I can buy used books, cheaper than amazon. This follows my quest of finding Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan series. Looking forward to receiving some tips. Carlos |

Which specific titles are you looking for? If you're outside the US I'd be happy to do a little price-comparison shopping for you. Last fiddled with by ewmayer on 2019-02-11 at 19:47 |

Abe Books is a well-known seller.
Just about all the used book stores with an online presence will be on Amazon though. |

Not all of us are American. And we're OK with that...

I would be happy to send them to you, if you pay the shipping of the atoms. Sincerely. Just PM me your FedEx et al account number, and I'll give you the associated tracking number. |

I usually buy all my books through charity shops so above £1/book is already expensive since I read between 1-2 books per week...lol
The titles I was looking for are as a start: The Hunt for Red October (1984) Patriot Games (1987) The Cardinal of the Kremlin (1988) Clear and Present Danger (1989) The Sum of All Fears (1990) Debt of Honor (1994) Executive Orders (1996) The Bear and the Dragon (2000) Red Rabbit (2002) Thank you ewmayer and Mark. |

It would probably be far less expensive for you to procure what you desire locally. But my offer stands. |

Powell's Books: www.powells.com
I don't thnkl anyone can beat amazon's used book sellers, however. I check Powell's when amazon doesn't have a book such as an old one out of print. |

“I must not post. Post is the second-hand-killer. Post is the expense that brings total obliteration. I will face my local market. I will permit it to disappoint me over and over. And when a gem is found I will turn the inner eye to read its words. Where the post has gone there will be no profit. Only I will remain.”
