So I installed gimps on Gentoo and enabled the service to start on boot, but for some reason whenever I don't pass the -m flag and select "4. Test/continue" manually, the program actually fails to log any progress and fails to report to the server.
Does anyone know why that might be happening? |

Is UsePrimenet set to 1 in prime.txt? What is DaysBetweenCheckins set to, if set?

I figured out what I did wrong:
I did not read the "README.gentoo" supplied with my version of gimps, in there they explicitly stated to configure the server to use the /var/lib/gimps directory and change the ownership of the files in there to "nobody:nobody" Can I mark this thread as solved somehow? |
