How about let's also talk about the fact that people can be banned with zero recourse. How about the fact that this is a Wild West forum and people can be mistreated at will.

Xyzzy needs to give up his forum, because it's a disaster and the internet public deserves better.

I know people will tell me to move on to another forum, but I'm not sure how to find one. Is Reddit what I want? I guess I could try that.

It is probably a good idea if you want to talk about Jesus and religion, then a forum devoted to Math and Science is not the best place.
You can still stay here and talk about math while also using another forum to talk about other things that interest you.

On most forums you'd probably have been banned 3000 posts ago. The closest thing the mods do that is anywhere near to out of line is editing the title of a thread to something humorous and that's not a big deal. As long as they don't edit the posts themselves to misrepresent their views who cares. Reddit is what you make it. 4chan et al are for trolling so you'll never know if people are agreeing with you or just egging each other on.

The moderators work as a team. Sometimes one or another will be the first on the scene of something that needs to be addressed. Sometimes things are reversed by other moderators or by a group consensus. He could have deleted your post completely. He left it visible and in the Lounge.

You have been given a blog area with wide latitude to post there what you will. That is far more freedom than you will see on most forum websites. Consider posting your thoughts about the rapture there. (Oh BTW, as someone who considers the Bible to of vast import, consider that the rapture is not taught in the Bible. But, let's save that discussion for your blog area.)

The thread got locked, for s good reason.

Dont act like a child now and blame the mods or other forum management members for doing there job!

This forum is build for math, and knowlegde sharing. For sure there are other Subforums, but everything has there bounds.

Sharing conspiracy theory´s on a science based forum; specialy in Lounge?

Maybe Post it in Off--topic or in your private blog; so then we can at least debunk your theory.
