Would be interesting to see a Prime95 benchmark on these with 12-channel RAM.
Anyone benchmarked the AMD Epyc servers with 8-channel RAM? |

Turbo boost is bullhockey, you almost never achieve full boost and it evaporates pretty quick as soon as you start using it, at least with air cooled.
I don't even care about turbo boost any more, all I care about is base speed. |

So, I'm not expecting to see any cascade lake-AP chips anytime soon. Intel might only be offering the 400w 56 core honker on their own servers.
