If the Bible is true, than the Earth will be 6,000 years old on May 5th 2021.

According to Jewish tradition, us lowly humans get 6,000 years probation, and then judgement.

Also, if you subtract 3 360-day Hebrew years from that May 5th 2021 date, you get May 21st, which is exactly 7 days after Israel's 70th year anniversary on civil era calendar. Civil era is what Americans and British use, and I assume what most of Europe uses.

Lots of stuff has happened based on the idea that a dude who lived about 2,000 years ago was more than just a regular dude.

Donald Trump is still a bad dude, but he's a bad dude linked to prophecy.

The "young earth" idea is due to Archbishop James Ussher (or Usher, 1581 - 1656), who attempted to determine the date of creation, basically by going through all the "begats" in the Bible. He found that the world had been created in October 4004 BC.

Proponents of the Millennial Day Theory use the formula that a millennium here on earth is one day to God. Thus, when 6,000 years have elapsed after creation, we will enter the sabbatical millennium, in which Jesus returns to rule over the earth.

I may not be the world's greatest arithmetician, but adding 4004 years BC to 1996 years AD (and remembering that there was no Year Zero), we find that the sabbatical millennium began in October 1997.

May 14th was the start of the first tribulation. It'll end on October 25th, 2021, or thereabouts. And then the real problems will start. By April 9th, 2025, a lot of this planet will literally be smooth glass.

Well, the page I linked to says 3983 B.C., but it's only 20 years difference.

According to the poster, he's(gender-neutral he) linked Adam's birth to present day, with no breaks. With all the stuff going on in the world, I thought I'd try to start a dialogue on here.

Please show us data proving the recent occurrence of the natural phenomena you mention is historically unprecedented, and I'll happily retract my "delusional twit" comment and issue a formal apology. But you're much bigger on the spouting-off bit than the doing-your-homework bit, so I doubt I'll have any retracting to do.

BTW, the 3983 date seems to have been devised by an evangelist named John Ogwyn (1949-2005).

June 21st is also a possible important date, I'm thinking it might be the date the 7-year peace treaty is signed between Israel and Satan. Whoever the main signer is is probably the anti-Christ. I'm personally thinking it'll be the Pope.
