Assignment didn't get assigned to me

Hello,

I got an assignment and I went to go run it on GIMPS. When I came back to the website, my assignment wasn't under the "Assignment" tab. Is there a way that I or an admin can add this assignment onto my account. I have the full "TEST=" etc.

Hi jrachman,

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble with Prime95. You can always try to fix it by reinstalling the software.

The Client / Server seems to function for me. (It seems to happen automatically.)

Hopefully someone else can help you better.

Did you use the Get Manual Assignments? If so it should be listed as a Manual Assignment until you put the assigned work line into a worktodo.txt on your computer and Send New End Dates.

Did you get the assignment from the client? Is so there is nothing you should have to do to see it on your Assignments.

Did you type it in yourself? If so you need to send New End Dates before you will see it.

Is it possible then something happened to cause PrimeNew to unassign it? Or not actually give it to you because someone else had it? Evidence of this will be in Results.txt.

Beyond this I suggest you wait for those with inner working knowledge to respond and ask for more specifics

Further to petrw1's comments, if you requested it as a manual assignment, were you logged in at the time?
