Sure, but if they want to set up an interview with me, but don't decide that until after I leave, the best route for them ( and basically only one, because my device doesn't have a phone number registered to it to my knowledge, or data, or it's own wifi ( so it's like the land line phone I have available to use, but, I think the number is registered to my sister, and I can't remember it ( she probably doesn't either))) is email. Skills to me imply expertise, as that was the accepted definition prior to the crap about a specific ability ( "belonging or relating uniquely to a particular subject" is one definition of specific that makes the two basically equivalent though).

More excuses.

You could solve that if you really wanted to.

Yeah, claim the costs ( causing expense to someone else). Just so it doesn't come from my current budget ( which I'll admit is loose in it's definition for me as I probably change spending a lot.).

Well science_man_88, good luck with your excuses to not go job hunting. It seems to be working out well for you so far.

Contacting as many people as possible is a highly effective way to find a job. It is estimated that 50% or higher of all jobs are found through networking.[2]

Likewise, job seekers are beginning to use social networking sites to advertise their skills and post resumes. Today, job seekers can use resources such as Google+’s Circles, Facebook’s BranchOut, LinkedIn’s InMaps, and Twitter’s Lists to make employers notice them in a unique way.[4] In 2014, using these social media networks has led to 1 of 6 job seekers finding employment.[5]
your way is not necessarily the most successful. the premise of it working for you only forms an ampliative argument towards the conclusion of it working for anyone else.

I'm convinced that you have ample tools at your disposal if you're willing to put in the effort. I'm also sure you could find solutions to this on your own. But to give some examples:
  • Tell them you don't have an email address, but you'll be back the next day (or another day, if they prefer) to hear what they decide.
  • Go to a local library and use a computer there to set up a free webmail account to use, then check if from the library.
  • Do job interviews until one of them gives you an acceptance on the spot.
  • Save enough of the support money to get mobile internet for a month. It looks like Telus offers a 100MB/month plan for $10/month.

But you seem to already have internet access, so I guess I'm a little confused...

It's through my PC my tablet (an Android, that my father got me one Christmas) doesn't access internet without Wifi only exception I've noted was GPS if I already had maps open then it probably just checks location of wifi it detects, and then triangulates.

Lots of malls and businesses offer free Wi-Fi in Canada. Plus all the MacDonald, Tim's and the likes. Internet access is not an issue where you are. Plus why not use your pc rather than your tablet?

Great, so answer job email on your PC. That's definitely easier than walking to the library and back like I did when I needed an internet connection (it was about 3 miles each way, not so bad I guess).

because the suggestion is to physically go somewhere and my PC is a bit too heavy to carry potentially 20 minutes each way to walk to some of the more mainstream companies. some have it password protected so without the passwords having wifi in range is also potentially meaningless.

Again, If I don't go back to my PC before they email saying: "I want an interview later today" ( because based on the act of going away from my apartment to search I'll be away from my PC), then I can't if I'm out.

...why would you carry it?

You walk to the job. They ask for you email address, you give it. You don't check it until you get home again. The PC stays there the whole time.

It is highly unlikely that they would ask you to interview on the same day without mentioning it in person. But if they do, so what? Move on an interview with someone else. There are thousands of jobs out there.
