Please note that new files in the n=720-730k range are now available for download and testing using links in message 1 of the thread.
BifMeister Welcome to the group! Can you briefly introduce yourself and tell us when can we expect you to complete your first range. Thank you and happy hunting! |

Can't edit the last message.
Just checked the results.txt and the first error was duo to heat (my room is too hot) and the second one it's a little strange because the time for each number increased by 90% and had nothing on taskmanager so no second project running! I will stop until I find what's going on. Carlos |

As far as an estimate on my results, I am running a pretty busy 2.6GHz P4 under Gentoo Linux that is getting around 8ms/iteration. So, I would imagine by the end of the week. Thanks, Bif |

If I understood correctly you'd like to cancel your range. Is that right? In that case please mail me your results, I'll test the whole range and see are there any errors. You can try to install MBM and check the temperature of your cpu, mobo etc. under heavy load. BifMeister Thanks for the self-introduction! As for the complition, we are actaully not in hurry, we'd only like to know can you complete the range or not. It appears in your case there are no problems. BTW, if you hit a prime don't forget to include "15k Search" in your provers code.

Finally I got mail from SB2 about his 630-636k range. The news is that he cannot complete the range and has no results.
So I divided the range into 1k chunks and put the first three on the server. Please consider reserving and testing one of these together with one of the latest files. |
