Prime95 (as of 28.9) refuses to test 66066061 because it is composite. I don't know if Ruicar managed to bypass this check, or told us a false number (in order to safeguard "his prime", perhaps?).

it can't be prime with a composite exponent proof take for example 2*x for some value x as our exponent then 2^(2*x)-1 = (2^x+1)*(2^x-1) via the fact that 2^(x+1)-1 = 2*(2^x-1)+1 for any value x and the fact that you apply this repeated to get to the exponent 2*x leading to (2^x)*(2^x-1)+(2^x-1) = (2^x+1)*(2^x-1)=2^(2*x)-1

you apply this repeated to get to the exponent 2*x leading to (2^x)*(2^x-1)+(2^x-1) = (2^x+1)*(2^x-1)=2^(2*x)-1 you say his repeat but when ou do this 2399 on side and 27539 other every time you reach one you take off this same value and the other side you need more rotation

what I'm saying is in the mersennes themselves:
3=2*1+1
7=2*3+1 = 4*1+3
15= 2*7+1 =4*3+3 = 8*1+7
...

3 is 2^2-1
15 is 2^4-1 is 2^(2*2)-1 = (2^2+1)*(2^2-1) = 5*3 and you can extend this to show that any multiple of a value other than 1 in the exponent is composite.

m=266066061-1 can not be prime. Because 66066061 is not prime, but divisible by 2399, then one of the factors of m is q=22399-1, a number with 723 digits, given below:

in turn, this is a mersenne number itself, with a prime exponent, which is NOT a prime, because it has a factors like

Therefore your "prime number" is in fact divisible by 4799. This is how you waste 7 days of electricity because you have no freaking idea what are you doing.

(Where is RDS to send them to the books?)

Hi Paul Under Wood,

I'm Rui's friend, and we are working on a very interesting mathematics project. We are looking for people passionate about mathematics to look at what we have found.

Can you please tell me if you have time to work with us ?

For information, Rui doesn't have anymore access to this forum.

Thanks a lot fo your response !
