just because a test completes doesn't mean it's prime. also I still am not sure unless you were retesting an already known mersenne exponent how you are so sure of it being a prime.

No. Perhaps you thought when the test reached 99.99% prime95 meant "there is a 99.99% chance this is a prime". Instead, it means "your test is 99.99% complete, but your number is no more likely to be prime than when the test started".

that mean mersene im not a professor but i love number and specially prime like 5^5-2 or 7^7-2 or 49^49-2or 25^25-2 i like prime i want to see i i can get one mersene with my only mac i can't not test more because i have not the power

No result with the given residue has appeared in the Recent Cleared list. You have not yet sent in the result.

There is no reason to think this is actually a Mersenne prime.

Numbers of this size are too big for Mathematica. The fact that Mathematica fails to find a factor is meaningless.

Please mermen contact me just to know if you have all the fille result your site is little complicate you have my email on my login i want to know if i have send all for you and for me 7 days i was doing that and with only one worker 30 oct 5 nov i want to know if is for nothing or for new mersenes primes

i send manually because my i mac I've not communicate with gimps

but i have send screen shot result iteration fille number evening

but i gave a lot of things i hope they have you see at the end i see my prime 95 not communicate with gimps i have an account just 7 day

i send 10 time the same file result screenshot everything my girlfriend take a video when he shut down at 99.99

why gimps is so complicate?? i understand nothing to the forum i open multiples window

It reached 100%.

If your result is correct, the number is not prime.

Can you tell the program Prime95 to "manually communicate with the server"?

Better luck with the next number that you test!
