Once during an international Scrabble championship (English), around a beer and some crispy food in the campus, a discussion (between international players) started about playing "the game" in each one's local language. All players were amazed that we have in Romanian a word with 7 letters from which 6 vowels (and we pronounce every one of them!): acioaie.
We also have words that contain 3 identical vowels in a row (and yes, we pronounce all of them). For example, "the children" is "copiii", but each "i" has a different grammatical function, the first is part of the root of the word child, the second is the plural mark, and the third is the definite article (the English "the"). My family and I were watching Spelling Bee contest on television some six months back, that was interesting, and one of the words asked there was to spell Iiwi.
