You mean "white cannot". But yes, very good point about that Bb7 for black.

However, a very early Saturday morning here, I had to wake up at 6 for whatever reason. Now is 7:30, I am done with the "whatever", and I am waiting for my coffee to boil. The vote is done long ago, but I let Rybka running last night and that is the best line it picked after about 7 hours:

5... Nc6 6. Be2 Bb4 7. Nxc6 bxc6 8. O-O d5 9. Qd4 Qb6 10. Be3 Qxd4 11. Bxd4

which lets us in a slight advantage in center, but we may lose g7 pawn, whatever.

Our task would be to improve on this. One improvement I already see, if we don't go for exchange the queens but make O-O instead, if then white goes for exchange and gain a pawn in b6, we exchange B-K in c3 and get the pawn in e4 instead.

5...a6 and 5...Bb4 are both bad due to 6.e5
As for 5...d6 and 5...Nc6 they are rather equal, but after 5...Nc6 white can transform to Sveshnikov variation (6.Ndb5 d6 7.Bf4 e5 8.Bg5) which I personally dislike. So I vote for 5...d6.
6.g4 is not dangerous - black has several good lines there. If I correctly understood, white don't use the opening book therefore we can use this benefit and not avoid sharp lines.

Both of you are correct. As of this post, white is currently calculating a response to Nc6, the most popular move so far. Current depth is 41 ply with 67,618,815 k nodes searched. I'll let it think for about 12-18 more hours before it makes its move.
