Just so you know, Nvidia has stated that Cuda 8 is the last to support Fermi cards.
Actually, I'm surprised it has lasted this long. Of course, all the previous versions are still available. |

I will keep using the Fermi's for now :)
First of all they are dirt cheap. Secondly they are not so bad :) |

Yeah, I just bought another GTX 580 last night for $50 Canadian ($38 US). I still want another for this Broadwell-E system I'm building. Such a mismatch in eras.

I still have two GTX 480's churning away now. I didn't know they were so cheap now! (I won't go into the Tesla S1070 also still running!)
