One of lorgix's polys after many transformations (the last one was root-opt in CADO):

A flare caught by swellman (http://mersenneforum.org/showpost.ph...&postcount=258), scaled (c5-->4*c5, Y1-->2*Y1), and run through root-opt in msieve and CADO (http://mersenneforum.org/showpost.ph...&postcount=277).
Kudos to VBCurtis for extensive test-sieving and playing with parameters! Code:

Recently ran some poly searches on C175_142_130, a xyyx composite cofactor remaining after yoyo@Home found a p58. Got a lucky flare, and not even Max’s magic could improve it. Further searching at higher intervals proved counterproductive.

After my quick check, the above C161 still holds a record score, it's just lower according to the current versions of msieve, CADO, and http://myfactors.mooo.com/ (http://www.cownoise.com/).

C189 ( 1.2522e188 from Lucas(2995) ): 2.078e-14 (score from msieve 1.53 SVN 993). This is about half-way through spending 21 million thread-seconds on poly selection.
