Thanks :)
Well, about that 19.Qf2 move, it is not so wonderful as I first said. I mean the move is good, but somehow (due to WMH's claim, but it is not his guilt) I was wrongly fixed on this idea that SF will reply Qb6. Of course he may not reply Qb6. After more look, black has other options too. For example he can double the rocks on column e, to which I don't really have a good reply, beside of the Nd4. Actually Nd4 is a very good continuation for our 20th move, regardless (almost) of black's reply. Also black can play aggressively and put the horse in e3, attacking the rook (I still have to decide if this is a good move for black, or it help us to move that rook). Definitively this position needs more thinking. If the time is short, don't wait for me, we can move to voting. If I have time I will post a little analysis tonight. |

I think I will go with Gary's analysis in post #20. That is very good analysis resulting in a clear draw almost immediately.
The version with 19.Qf2 seems more promising, we have some advantage as we keep the pawns and black's pawns are not placed very fortunate, his mid pawn is weak as he can't really defend it, etc., but the hostilities result in a very complicate positional game after something like: 20.Nd4 Qb6 21.c3 Ne3 22.Rfe1 Re5 Up to here they are somehow forced, but then we have not much sente here, maybe we can play a3 or h3, it seems h3 is better, but then 23.h3 f5 24.f4 Re4 25.Re2 Nc4 and we are forced to exchange, and he connects the pawns in his (huge) advantage. Maybe we can get more than a draw from here, but it will be extremely complicate. OTOH, it may be challenging...

I also have changed my mind against c3 following Gary's analysis, and I will vote accordingly.
