PSU was my first guess. But if it only does it when Prime95 is running, I'd maybe do a stress test with the GPU cranking away and see how it does... that'll stress the power, I suppose.

Prime95 doesn't really do a good job of doing a *full* memory test, like a real mem tester would, but it will put the hurt on the basic parts, just not every single bit on every single stick.

Checking the temps on the CPU while Prime95 is running will also give you a good idea if it's cooling okay (good thermal paste, sufficient fan, etc) but again, even if the temp reading seems okay, it could still be heat related. Go figure.

@OP: First, you should not give your windows serial numbers on a public forum. My Asian friends are just waiting for it to grab..
Some mod please mend that text file (a lot of info inside is not useful, too).

Second, P95 seems not to be working, when you did the temperature snap. The CPU cores can't stay to 35C when P95 runs, no way!

Third, my money are on the PSU too, from what you explained already. During your game, with P95 running in background, there may be spikes of power that stress the PSU too much. But don't start changing hardware until you eliminate other cause, as heat, or bad memory, etc.

Forth, I would take Batalov's advice to re-seat the CPU, possibly using a fresh paste, especially if you did it yourself, and if you are not very experienced in doing it. You may lose over 10°C over a bad seated cooler, and it may be that this only manifests in "stress times", when a spike of heat has to be dissipated fast, and still work well when "normal use".

I'm pretty sure they'd only be able to delete it rather than edit it unless they edit the files on the server directly.

I've noticed an interesting pattern on where it happends the most games, where there are multiple entities coming at you at the same time.

Such as Payday 2, Killing floor 2, Warhammer Vermintide, and especially Left 4 Dead 2 (crashed my PC 3 times in 1 hour).

Just stray thoughts- is your video driver up to date? What does GPU usage look like while running things that are likely to crash? (TechPowerUp GPU-Z is good for this.)

I am coming around to the PSU suggestions that others have made. I had some very bad times trying to run with a supply that turned out to be going bad.

It's updated. I'm going to attempt some further GPU testing while running a game on full scale. I've had this supply for about 3 years now, so it could be likely going bad. We shall see.

Though this monitor seems a bit unreliable.

If someone has a little too much time on their hands, I'd gladly discuss this further on perhaps skype, or steam.
