I don't think they can play that. 30...Qf4 31.Qa6 Qxf5 32.Qa7 (or Qa8) Qf8 and they have given up a piece for little tangible result.

I think we will lose after 30...Qf4, but their win is not totally clear yet (which it is if we play 30...Rxb7).

EDIT: Even your line is good for us, actually. 30...Qf4 31.Qa6 Qxf2+ 32.Kh1 Qxb2 33.Qa7 Qxb7

EDIT2: 33...Qxa1+ 34.Qxa1 Bxa1 35.Bc8 Kg7-f8-e8-d8-c7 even better. :D

I see now.

OK with Qf4.

If we see a mate coming I recommend we play it to the end;
that just makes the post-mortem easier with the final board visible.
