We haven't done any post-processing work in a long time, but we have an idle dual-core NUC with 16GiB of memory so we figure we could put it to work.
Suggestions for a job for us to do would be appreciated. We are not bothered if the work takes an extra long time. Thanks!

16GB is enough for all but the very-largest 15e jobs (which, on two cores, would take many months anyway). If you try some of the smaller 15e jobs (judged by size of Q-range, a very rough proxy for difficulty), you should spend less than a month on each job.

Taking Fib(1469), a 15e GNFS task.
Fibonacci(1327) is a 26M beast, which will take about 3 more weeks on 6 cores of otherwise-idle i7. |

A few jobs listed as in process are done.
- C215_10695665473_23 was reported factored in post 2343 - C175 from term 10071 of aliquot sequence 11040 was apparently not reported but the factors are given in factordb as a p82*p94 - 147^53+53^147 cofactor (15e) was reported factored in post 2342. fivemack: UPDATED Last fiddled with by fivemack on 2018-01-06 at 09:58 |

We are unable to complete this work.
No amount of fiddling with various parameters will allow this job to get more than 2% done in the "NC2" stage before it dies. We hesitate to attempt other work until someone else tries this job. Either our method/computer/whatever is wrong or the data is bad.
