We upgraded from 8GB to 16GB in our gaming computer. We were not able to get dual-rank memory modules but we did get a good deal on (slightly) faster memory.

Old: DDR4 2400; 2×4GB; 14-16-16-31; 1.20v; Corsair "Vengeance LPX"
New: DDR4 3000; 2×8GB; 15-17-17-35; 1.35v; Corsair "Dominator Platinum"

Prime95 is now about 9% faster without changing anything else.

We upgraded our gaming computer from a SATA M.2 SSD to a NVMe M.2 SSD. We used a 512GB Samsung "970 Pro".

The speed difference isn't as pronounced as going from a HD to a SSD, but it is very noticeable!

A couple of hours fine observing skies tonight, something all to rare in the rainy season. Even the moon kept out of the way until the clouds rolled over.
