Once again I've been quiet due to work obligations but I have been following along. Rf8 is our only option I'm afraid....

Good to hear from you again Rich.

Given that (1) we all agree on the move, and (2) David as team captain has not indicated that he will be around, I'm going to post the move now. I could leave it for you, Rich, and maybe I'm out of order here anyway, but I'm aware that the deadline is quite early in your morning and I'm not sure if there's any point in waiting anyway.

Let me know, everyone, if I'm doing the wrong thing (for future reference!).

You are doing correct. Unfortunately I keep on forgetting to come back on to actually post the move.
I used to get reminded extra about this chess game as I played chess online on another website. I have become too busy and stopped playing there. This means I am more forgetful here.

Whatever works, Brian, is fine with me. I would have been awake before the deadline or I wouldn't have offered to post. And today is a national holiday (Presidents' Day) so I have the day off from work!

Yes, Rich, you've saved the day on occasion before when the move almost didn't get made, and you'd have done it this time too as you said you would. I hope you're having an enjoyable free day.
