Default Error obtaining CPUID for manual testing

I got this error early this morning from PrimeNet (MISFIT upload):

ERROR IN OBTAINING CPUID FOR MANUAL TESTING COMPUTER.
ERROR CODE: 11, ERROR TEXT: UPDATE T_CPUS FAILED, CPU_ID: xxxxxx

(I blanked out the CPU_ID). It wasn't detected by MISFIT as a problem and the results didn't get reported. Two of the results were intermediate factoring levels, so at the next MISFIT upload the final factoring levels were of course reported as "not needed".

I've not seen this before; just a transient problem I guess.

The server's database was down for 5 minutes late this morning. I restarted the server services.

BTW, manual assignments page has been converted to James' common header/footer/login. Manual results reporting is next. I hope this doesn't break MISFIT or GPU72.

It was down for much more than five minutes...

If it does, we'll deal with it.

No problem, I resent the results that didn't get processed.

I'll watch out for it, but if some notices it first please email me.

Can someone try this http://www.mersenne.org/manual_result/default_new.php

I tested a no-factor-found and an ECM. I don't have any factors or LL results to throw at it.

BTW, if your submission goes awry, I'd rather not manually edit the database to get you CPU credit.

Thanks

Worked fine here. I submitted a results.txt file with 63 mfaktc no factor results and three factors. Everything turned out as expected.

Then some mprime p-1 results with 1 factor, pasted into the window. That worked fine too, although I did get a result not needed on one of the exponents. But that's not unusual for me, I'm not very careful distributing the work.

Just checked the exponent, 65541631. Not my mistake this time. It seems GPUto72 gave me an assignment for p-1 on an exponent already p-1ed.

Good. I'll make it the default web page.

Thanks for testing it.
