Thank you Rebirther and Mark for this effort!
I added now the new compressed binary to my release page :

http://jpenne.free.fr/index.html

Also, I updated the source accordingly to the changes that are not in 64bit Visual Studio.

I also fixed a slight bug in lprime.c (the test of a single candidate using -q"<expression>" accepts only k*b^n+c formats, as explained in the Readme.txt file, but the invalid format error was not always detected...)
This concern only the console applications, and I corrected all the binaries I can build accordingly.

I have a stupid question, I want to upgrade my linux server with this latest version. Which one should I use, the static or dynamic version?

EDIT: It is the static by the name the file has.

You may use the one that can run on your system (possibly, both!).

Are there any plans for the next release (possibly 3.9.x) based on 28.x gwnum library?

Not until I release source code for v28. I'm making some more changes for v28.4 and plan to release source code then.
