Since it seems impossible to parse # in LaTeX how about:

GCD((sqrt(M1277)\1)#,M1277)

Would that fair any better?
Now only one of the factors can be in common.
In \LaTeX it is \#. The closest I could get in mimetex is \sharp: \sharp

What's wrong with \(\sharp\) or \(\#\), on this forum we use matjax, you can even put it in a box \(# text\) or make it from pieces \(=\!\!\!\!\!||\) (just a try, hehe, there are better ways)

Edit: you can click "quote" to this post or "view source" in your browser and see how I did it. There is a "help" section somewhere here around, and a thread where we talk about.
Edit 2, days later: added matjax link to the help.

For the uninitiated, that is enclosing commands with backslash+left-parenthesis and backslash+right-parenthesis. Thank you so my LaurV! MathJax is so much cleaner with \(\LaTeX\).

It appears that user TJAOI reached the 67.000 bit mark three days ago, as stated in https://www.mersenne.ca/tjaoi.php

We can see that in the last batch, he uploaded a few factors out of order with 66.xxx bits.

Well, TJAOI just uncovered another large batch of exponents (~150) with factors missed by TF. That was great, as many expensive PRP tests will be saved.

I opened all of these results.

For M134,000,000 and M139,000,000 missed results the user "Josh Famestad" was responsible at the TF range (67-68) with the missed factor.
A quick search of the forum didn't show any results for that name. Can someone dig up the list of their TF results?

For M189,000,000 missed results the user "Dominik Radler" also no forum mentions was responsible.
That user is rank 240 for TF: "240 Dominik Radler 5968.990 1953 24"
1953 / 24 = 81 is in the right ballpark but others can comment

Three other results by users with only one failed results:

cat JoshFamestad.txt | grep 'NF' | awk '{ print "Factor=" $1, $8, $10 }' | sort -k 3 | sed 's/ 2\^/,/g' > test.txt

For TF=67-68, 14,860 Factor, 3,432.831 GHd

I queued these up as two days of work on my 1080, if someone wanted to sample the TF=68-69 work that would also be appreciated.

I will run all the tests from 68 bits up. It will be done quickly, but I will start it probably tomorrow.
