Default Request for a new emoticon

Please consider adding this emoticon. It is apropos of a few things we see here from time to time.

http://www.beesource.com/forums/imag...es/digging.gif

I would suggest naming it "bob" or "ewmayer" or "xilman" but that might seem a bit facetious. Maybe just name it "digging" would be best.

Philately will get you everywhere.

I already have a smily named after me; another would be greedy.

Philately is less valuable after you've posted.

It depends. In general you are correct but there are many cases where mint examples are worth much less than used ones.

And to take the thread completely off-topic, the United States Postal Service has brought back a classic, even if it is adjusted for inflation.

The didn't print a few mini-sheets with an inverted inverted centre, I suppose?

Yeah, I got one of those, the cheap mint version of course. It was used during WWII, it could only be used to send parcels to the soldiers on the front. Sitting in the trenches, most of the recipients didn't care about keeping the wrapping paper (you need the stamp on enough of the wrapping so the sender and the recipients names are still there), they probably used it to start fires and even if they wanted to keep it, most got lost.

mint = €2.50
used as described = €X,000.-
