Ah! Those were the days! I remember an early jewel of a virus called Anti-exe which spread by floppy. Of course, Flash drives still fill the role of a disease vector.

Wow, I never heard of that one, but I do remember probably in the early or mid-'90s seeing floor-model PCs on display at Office Warehouse (RIP) that were obviously infected. This scared me into getting my first AV program, by an Israeli company named EliaShim, for my Amstrad PC6400 back then.
