Sorry for my lack of communication. I was caught up with leaving New York and flying back to California. I think Nc6 was the right move now, and we should look at Ne7 next move.

Good to hear from you Rich. Hope you've recovered from the journey - I guess three time zones is not quite enough for jet lag? I'm glad you're happy with the move as played.

Our move was fine. The knight can attack d4, with the threat of a fork. Moving the other knight and maybe O-O will mobilize our rooks -- to further attack the queen's side. My main worry is defending c5. :smile:
