Hello,
I am new to linux (Ubuntu 12.04) and I have no idea how to setup my connection to primenet. It asks for proxy name, password, port, etc. All I know is that I have a broadband connection and when I stick the cable in the computer I (often) connect directly to the world wide web. I hope there is a simple solution for this. Can anybody help me? |

Hi, welcome to GIMPS!
You can most often just leave all those blank. You probably don't have a proxy, and even if you do I'd try leaving them blank first. Let us know how you get on! Mark |
