Default Trial factoring Zero for Seven Thousand?

I don't mean to pry into someone else's business who might not want the spotlight put on them, but a user by the name of Craig Meyers is 14th for trial factoring, and at the time of my checking, has 151132 GHz-Days across 7486 attempts and zero successes. Average assignment value is 20GHz-Days which, I think, corresponds roughly to Makes Sense TM.

My personal results with Makes SenseTM were roughly 1/(# of bits), so is this really bad luck? Faked results? Hardware issues?

#22 Bill Staffen looks a bit suspect too.

A couple of Zero Successes down around ranks 75 and 76, also, for 1000+ attempts. I'm going to stop looking into this until I get a bit of feedback. I might just be missing something.

Craig Meyers is nucleon, Bill Staffen is Aramis Wyler in these forums.

I think the "Successes" are for the year, the attempts aren't... I am guessing because nucleon has had his gpu's rest for a while now (I think)

I may be wrong.

Funny. I just saw a post from less than an hour ago from Nucleon, signed Craig. I thought to myself "hmmm... THE Craig?" I guess it was.

He was mentioning putting his Titans to work on P-1 so you could be right... On the other hand, aren't the GHz-Days also on a per year thing? Because that's still 150THz-Days with zero successful factoring attempts...

Craig is in Australia. He initially went quiet for southern hemisphere summer for reasons of economy. The amount of hardware he runs is expensive to feed at any time of the year.

This has been noticed before, with other users (myself included), and is probably due to PrimeNet thinking his factors are P-1, not TF. He has 255 "P-1" successes for 2651 attempts - that's 9.6%. You'd expect about 100 factors to be found in that many TFs, so if you assume that 100 of those factors are really TF, and the rest of the P-1 successes and attempts are truly P-1, then you get the more reasonable P-1 success rate of 6.1%.

!! I'm a shady character I guess! But my results are a little off because I run LMH numbers in the 332M range to 79 bits for Uncwilly in exchange for him keeping his minions on p-1 work. Those are really long jobs (16-23 hours each on my 580) and I've only had 2 or 3 successes.
