I think it was his long history of being rude and insulting. It was telling that George added his warnings, where before Ernst had been in the forefront.
He certainly sent at least one gay slur my way right at the end, though in context, I didn't really care.

Didn't see that particular barb thrown in real-time, but it's actually a pretty funny one, IMO. If he was banned for that, it wasn't by me - I'm more averse to to the continual youtube link-spammage and more-crass-but-less-clever insults by DE. Creative insults worthy of a drunken but erudite Irishman, those are always OK with me, being a valued art form. (I note that ritualized insult contests have a long historic pedigree in a variety of cultures, from kilted Highlanders trading barbs to "yo momma" jokes in US inner urbia.)
