Searching 1-2M.
OK, taking 3-5M for msieve-GPU. One of my CADO machines may be free next week; if so, I'll give it 16 core-days or so on CPU for fun.

I’ve finished the C181 with nothing in the 7s. Blah. Effort complete.

I'll start on 5-6M later tonight.

P.S. Nothing more to report on C181. :(

Thanks to all for pitching in the C184 poly search - much appreciated.

Looks like the high water mark for a C184 is 4.696e-14. Report anything above say 4.2e-14? The spinning often provides a huge increase in e-score for reasons not clear to me.

Edit: Ignore the above minimum reportable value, instead see Max’s sober advice in next post.

I would say let's see the first 3.6, and anything 4 could be totally spinnable into a record.

Abig jump in stage2_norm score: divided by 3. Cut-off is 6e24, and I get an order of magnitude less score... ( I usually set the cut-off at 3 time the stage2_norm of my best scoring poly)

Code:
1476 ...... -1.38 2.393308e+024
2064 ...... -1.11 5.803404e+024
3672 ...... -1.27 3.122475e+024
4056 ...... -1.17 4.187998e+024
4200 .......-1.96 6.049806e+023

Should I stop my poly-selection and change my stage2 norm, that is, set it to 2e24 ,now that I scored big?

Only 4 handles from me going forward.

ETA: kidding aside, we are starting off like a dragster. Stopping now is actually a viable option, but I’ll keep searching my range.
