I use msieve with 100 increasing stage2_norms for the rootsieve. I don't know what exactly Max uses to spin the polys up.

How much more do you wish to search? The best score found so far exceeds the previous record. A longer search may improve sieving performance a bit, but are we past the point of diminishing returns?

That said I’ll keep searching 6-8M. Currently approaching 6.5M with nothing in the 7s yet.

And at my next stopping point, I’ll try to duplicate firejuggler’s results. If I can’t find a good poly, maybe I can at least learn more sbout poly hunting.

You are probably right. I will shut down my search either tonight or tomorrow and let the spin doctors do their thing.
