That has to hurt, though :(

I've gotten over it.

I'm back below 2200 again, working 2199 and up to <2500. And, most of the stragglers have been rounded up.

I have written a script and come up with a procedure that greatly hastens the finding and fixing of composites within the PRP listing. It seemed to work well between 1000-2000 with limited testing. (It won't fix the one Jayder mentioned earlier.) Is there anyone who would prefer I left their area alone, or is everyone OK with me trying to remove a "few" of the composites throughout the listing?

That's awesome. If I'm understanding you right, it would save me quite a few minutes if you did that.

I ran 2000 PRPs starting at 2500 and found 57 composites. One was your stubborn find mentioned earlier (or, another of the same - I didn't verify it was the one from earlier, but it looked like it at a glance). I corrected the other 56 without any trouble. I'll run some more tomorrow or later.

I'm running an experiment to see if I can handle 5000 PRPs (beginning at 300dd) at once, checking for composites. I'm using YAFU's isprime() test to find them. That step is taking quite some time. I think it's been two hours and I think I'm at around 3500. So far 12 composites have shown up. I'm anxious to see if the rest of the process will go smoothly...

As for certificates, I am now down as far as 2151 and there are only four "new" stragglers between 2200 and 2500 at this time.

Update: Found and fixed 39 more from 300dd-3450dd. Hopefully, that will help some.

Obviously, if primo files were already downloaded before these corrections, Primo will still throw aborts when those files are run, but hopefully they are all already fixed.

I don't know where pakaran may be working now, but I just grabbed the rest of the PRPs between 2000dd and 2500dd to clear them out. There are less than 150 in the 1xxxdd range. Perhaps pakaran is working there by now?

I've done all but some new arrivals from 2000 dd to 2500 dd. I'm leaving 1xxx dd alone for now, to see what pakaran is up to. If we've cleaned out enough for you for now, I'll go play some other game, but I think I might just work some larger certificates overnight.

I've also gotten rid of a bunch more composites all the way to ~3675 dd. I'm not sure whether I'll go any higher right now or not...

Edit: I just grabbed ~50 at 4300 dd to play with overnight. If anyone is "offended," let me know before I post them...

@Jayder: If you're working above 3000 let me know. I'm going to grab a few at 3100.

@pkaran: I've left 1999 and below entirely to you since I don't know how far you've gotten. If you want me to clear any of the higher end, let me know.

Thanks for your work in clearing that Ed. It was annoying having to fix those manually. I highly doubt that I will work above 3000dd. It was fun to spend a few months working on clearing that, but I'm itching to move on.

Glad I was of help. I've run the composite clearing up through 3900dd so far. I might run that work a little further because I'm still playing with the scripts. As for certificates, I'm not sure I'll sty here much longer either, but I might work a little at 3000 and up.
