Sitting on my fileserver, I have 244,699,807,463 bytes of gnfs.lasieve-0.*.gz files.
Given that I have a fairly constant flow of numbers to factor, so can just run another C160 if I happen to want the relations from a C160, and can in fact quite often just wait for NFS@home to be factoring something of the right kind of size, is there in fact any circumstance in which these could be remotely useful, or can I store them more compactly and conveniently in /dev/null? Would it be worthwhile to record some sort of aggregated data about them, such as relation counts per composite/range?

Anyway, if you should suddenly and unexpectedly feel the need for a few gigabytes of NFS and MPQS relations, I can lend you my collection of CD-ROMS. Paul P.S. I've a selection of numbers ranging from C150 up to larger than C1000, so if the fancy takes you, just ask... Last fiddled with by xilman on 2013-05-19 at 18:41 Reason: Add P.S. |
