I completely agree with you that nobody should feel bad about the kind of work they're doing. They should do what they are happiest with doing.
It's just that I am happiest doing whatever makes the most sense. Of course, 101 is greater than 100, but I prefer 100 plus something the GPU can't do to 101. I don't want my "slow" computer doing something the GPU does 100 times faster if I can instead set it up to do something the GPU can't do at all. |
