Today is 60 days after the announcement of M48 (Feb. 5th), and so far, it doesn't look like there is any degree of mass exponent recycling. Indeed, LLs in the 62M range are presently being handed out. Perhaps this batch of new users will have a lower than usual attrition rate?

There probably shouldn't be. It's probably not like a huge number of exponents got assigned on the same day as the discovery of M48, and plus there are people who run it for a few days or weeks and ... decide it takes too long or some reason like that and stop.

Wait for 0000 UTC to pass. (That's ~2.5 hrs after the time of this post.)

What is the typical size of a daily cohort of expiring exponents?
