Indeed! Either if you are a C programmer and say that "4 is not equal to 24", or if you are a math geek, and say that "4 factorial is 24", you would be right in all cases.
I am also right to say that after a lot of running around that board, I found certain black wins for all their responses except two. Waiting for their move, during this time, If I am not sleeping, eating, factoring, or helping my bosses to get rich, then I am still digging those two moves. [TEX]24 = 4! = \frac{385-1^2}{4^2} = \frac{385-13^2}{3^2} = \frac{385-17^2}{2^2} = \frac{385-19^2}{1^2} = 4! = 24 [/TEX] Last fiddled with by Raman on 2013-03-21 at 19:53 |

24. Bf3 Bf5
I think that we need to play 24...Bf5 against ?? in order to stop their own 25.Qe4 playing / queen and then bishop, their own linear development motion, to be being done enough as follows as trap as fall as far as near as to be being no not needed Last fiddled with by Raman on 2013-03-22 at 19:07 Reason: to be being no not needed |

No idea
That Bf5 seems to be a good reply. But... Let them play Bf3 first... Which I really doubt they will do... now you see, this white writing is contagious! Last fiddled with by LaurV on 2013-03-23 at 05:15 |

grr, for the records, original title of the topic was "4!=24". Now after it is changed, my gibbering about factorials in the first post doesn't make too much sense

The original title lasted a grand total of 49 minutes. When I originally saw this thread it was already with its current (as of now) title.

they moved the queen. I say we think about b5 because that makes the queen move almost pointless they move anywhere except where they came from or c1 they get the queen captured after b5. Bg4 also looks good as it forces them to move the knight or block with pawn or bishop ( in these later two we can use a trade to align a check).
