I'd like to reserve k=99 for this project. My lack of low-weight results is getting a little frustrating, so I'll work on this a while.
How high are people sieving for n? 1 million? 500k? I suppose we'll want to eventually run these rather high, so may as well sieve higher than I plan to test.

Default first login (k=181)

hello @ all
because i did several times work for nothing i decided to log in here.
the lists under
http://www.prothsearch.net/riesel2.html or
http://www.mycgiserver.com/~primesearch/ or
http://www.15k.org/
aren't very coordinated (actual search limits or reservations differs).
so here i reserve k=181 from n=210000 to 260000
so nobody reserved it already.

As Kosmaj mentioned it couple of posts above - this "k" is already reserved...

Kar_Bon, by "work for nothing" do you mean your efforts on 97*2^n-1? I tried to tell you that you were aiming too low, but I'm afraid that message never reached you.

As you can see in my post in this thread of Feb. 25, I reserved k=181 and 19 more k's for our team effort. We are currently sieving all those k's and working ranges will be available soon. If you want to join us you are welcome. In the meanwhile it will be nice if you can kindly replace your k=181 by another one. Our reservation list is here and I'm updating it often. Thank you.

VBCurtis, welcome back! if you have resources can you sieve to n=1M.

BTW, I checked k=63 to 500k and k=95 to 700k. I'm releasing both of them.

Welcome to RPS!

But to reserve k=19 for you I need more information. Can you kindly introduce yourself, with references related to prime search and/or distributed computing. k=19 from n=517700 is not an easy task for beginners. How about trying first a file or two from the First RPS Drive to "calibrate" your hardware, no questions asked.

Thanks,
Kosmaj
