Thank you Ed. It worked also with Paul Underwood help under skype call.

The only issue I found was that my WD My Book USB 3.0 compatible doesn't work under windows but rather on USB 2.0 port connection. I few months ago I had this issue and I have forgotten. Glad my laptop has 1 USB 2.0 port and 2 USB 3.0 ports.

I would like to install a CPU temp measurement program. Which one is better? Under windows I had coretemp.

If you're using Unity (the default interface for Ubuntu 11.04+) then only one applies.

Unity Oneiric and above System Load Indicator
As of Ubuntu 11.10, in Unity one may use System Load Indicator via the Ubuntu Software Center.
Lucid means Ubuntu 10.04, so a rather old version; Xubuntu and Kubuntu use Xkce and KDE respectively in place of Unity.

I installed Psensor and works great. Now I would like to install an antivirus...might sound a stupid question but I am a windoze guy...lol

What's the best DVD Ripper for linux ubuntu? I want to make a copy of an original DVD I bought here in Brazil.
